Q: How does the system export static content?

A: eZ Publish has support for generating static cache of the pages. These pages can then be delivered by a CDN.

However when using a CDN you typically have a native integration with the CDN instead of using the static cache feature. This enables smoother combination of dynamic functionality (search for example) in a heavily cached environment.
