A: eZ Publish Enterprise uses RedHat Enterprise Linux as a reference platform running PHP 5 on Apache. MySQL is the recommended database for eZ Publish Enterprise.
eZ Publish has a pluggable authentication and authorization system to enable secure log-ins, identity management and fine grained permission management. Content produced in eZ Publish can be managed by multi-level workflows to control the content production and translation processes.
Delivery of content is managed by eZ Publish with a configurable cache framework with several levels of caching including internal cache, partial page cache, view/page cache, reverse proxy and CDN caching integrations with purging. This ensures high performing delivery and possibility to configure for personalized environments. eZ Publish supports clustering natively which enables running in a load balanced and fail-over environment.
