DefaultVersionHistoryLimit

Summary

Sets the number of concurrent versions that can exist of an object.

Usage

DefaultVersionHistoryLimit= number

Description

This setting globally determines how many versions eZ Publish will store of a specific object including drafts.
You should never set this setting below 2 since you need to allow at least one published version and one draft.

If the limit set here is reached, the oldest archived version will automatically be deleted.

Note: When decreasing "content.ini/[VersionManagement]/DefaultVersionHistoryLimit" you need to run the script script "bin/php/cleanupversions.php" to remove exceeded archived versions.

Examples

DefaultVersionHistoryLimit=10

10 is the default value for this setting.
