Server

Summary

Sets the hostname or the IP address of the database server.

Usage

 
Server=hostname|ip_address

Description

Specify either the hostname or the IP address of the server running the eZ Publish database (may be "localhost" if the database engine and the web server are installed on the same machine).

    If the database server can be referred to as localhost, to make the site.ini.append.php files in the siteaccess or in the override directory not unnecessarily longer, it is better to not write into these files that the server is the localhost, as this is already the default setting in site.ini.
