  • it is not possible to upgrade from 3.6 to 3.9

if you try to upgrade from 3.6 to 3.8 to be able to upgrade to 3.9, you will fail on on updatemultilanguage.php.

you download 3.8 to upgrade to 3.8, and only then download 3.9.

    • Re: it is not possible to upgrade from 3.6 to 3.9

I upgraded my sites from 3.8.x to 3.9.0rc1, to rc2, etc., following (I thought) all the provided instructions. Everything seemed to run correctly but now, only after a lot of contents changes, I noted the absence of the multilingual tags on all sites frontpages. The option "Site URL" is also absent from "the "Language settings" section of Design/Layout menu.

I run again the various update scripts and sqls with no results. Is there a way to manually modify the databases to add the lacking fields?
  • Upgrade from 3.9.0 to 3.9.2 did not show the new objects (i.e. blog, blog post, etc..)

I upgraded my sites from 3.9.0 to 3.9.2 and I noticed lacks of the new objects (i.e. blogs, blog posts, article main page, etc.) in the ez toolbar. There are no errors in the log. I tried do the same thing on a different machine (install ezpublish 3.9.0, put some data and then upgrade to the 3.9.2) and ended up with nothing. Could anyone can tell me what is wrong?

    Environment:
    Apache2
    PHP 4.4
    PostgreSQL 8.1
