The context menu

The context menu can be accessed by right clicking anywhere in the OE text area. In the Online Editor versions prior to 5.0, the context menu contained both classic commands like "Undo", "Cut", "Copy", etc. and specific items that can be used to manipulate the selected/current element. For example, when working with a link, the "Remove link" and "Link Properties" commands were available in the context menu. Starting from version 5.0, those specific items are gone from the context menu. You will have to use the toolbar buttons and/or tag names in the status bar instead (refer to the text below). The context menu only displays a set of generic commands that are supported by the user's browser. This means that the context menu is not "OE-specific" anymore. One of the benefits is that you can now work with the built-in spell checker in Mozilla Firefox using the context menu. The following screenshot shows the context menu in action.

As you can see from the screenshot, the context menu does not allow you to access the properties of a current/selected element. Instead, a new feature has been introduced. You can bring up the properties window for the current element by clicking on the corresponding tag name in the status bar.
